Do you have what it takes to be a JDM<3 author?

First let us thank you for your interest in becoming an author for JDM<3! We are always looking for new authors to contribute to the site. There are only a few requirements to be an author here, most are fairly simple and easy to do, some require time and dedication. If you think you have what it takes and you truly want to be an author then read on.

Requirements

• You must have experience with Japanese automobiles, whether you drive one now or you did in a past life.
• You must know what JDM means! No, not the lifestyle, but the literal definition.
• You must be willing to dedicate yourself to writing at least one post every other week

Those are fairly easy right? Here are the “nice to haves” which help us get to know you and your background.

• References – possibly a thread count on a Japanese automobile forum, or a reputation score.
• Prior experience with wordpress based blogging
• Photo editing abilities (editing out license plates etc…)

It doesn’t take much to be an author on JDM<3. Most of all we just want dedicated people that believe in the site and the lifestyle. We believe we represent more than just the site, we are representing the lifestyle, the movement, our sponsors, and our communities on the site and we take it pretty seriously. As an author you get the exclusive bragging rights of being an author on a JDM exclusive site with sponsors and people reading your thoughts every day. You have the ability to have your car showcased without running a poll, appeasing a moderator, or making nice with a forum based community. You get to be on the front lines of a new website, a new automotive based site breaking the rules and not being another forum, but an exclusive website dedicated to the education and perseverance of a lifestyle, a love, and a way of life.
